I can't tell if my timing was perfect or the opposite, but it seems I've a lot to catch up on. Would anyone mind filling me in on what happened here during the past few weeks while I was out? This place is a mess...

[He takes in a breath, before letting it out, sounding rather tired—but not from fatigue, grogginess, or anything of that sort.]

Looks like a lot of people disappeared as well. Minami, Miss Sharon, Break... It's funny. After two years, I thought I'd gotten entirely used to this, but... I guess this place always has a way of surprising you, no matter how long you've been here, huh?

[A pause]

It's not like it'll reach him, and I doubt that he'd have appreciated the sentiment either way, but...

[He closes his eyes for a moment, before smiling. It's only been a short while since he woke up, but even a second is enough to know that he'll truly and honestly miss the man.]

First there had been a strange, heavy black rain that started on Friday. The black one in particular behaved rather strangely during this time. The water then rose up to eight stories on Saturday and remained until that following Wednesday. The water broke through the barrier and emptied out into the sinkhole, where a large whirlpool now exists.
